Instructor Bio

Chef Janet has made numerous appearances on NBC and FOX television, and has been featured in the Philadelphia Tribune and Catering Magazine. JADE offers catering, personal chef, cooking instruction, event management, speaking, and consulting services, while satisfying appetites in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

JADE Jamaican Grill is a food, hospitality and events corporation owned and operated by Executive Chef & On-Air Talent Janet Davis. Infusing international tastes with its Caribbean core, JADE consistently serves up full on flavor culinary experiences at special events including the 2016 Democratic National Convention and the 2017 International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York.


What Do I Bring to Class?

Nothing! Just bring yourself and the enthusiasm to learn something new in the kitchen! The College will provide all the necessary tools for students to use while they're in class.



This course is held in the kitchens of the historical Allison Mansion at 4207 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Guests are welcome to use our FREE gated parking lot directly off of Walnut Street between 42nd and 43rd Streets. Parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Please enter the main entrance to be directed to your course by a College representative.
