Product Description

We will guide you step by step on making realistic and beautiful gum paste flowers! Take home stunning masterpieces to use on your next showstopping cake. 


Session 1: Wednesday, February 21st 2018

  • Students will enjoy a demonstration on how to color, roll, cut, vein and shape flower petals and leaves. Flowers will include Roses, Lilly's, Anemones and fillers such as leaves and blossoms

  • Students will color their gum paste, make their flower centers and begin working on their petals

Session 1: Thursday, February 22nd 2018

  • Students will enjoy a demonstration on coloring and detailing petals with petal dust as well as assembling flowers using floral tape and arranging finished flowers 

  • Students detail their flowers with petal dust and finish assembling their flowers. Students will then arrange their finished flowers to take home 

What Do I Bring to Class?

Nothing! Just bring yourself and the enthusiasm to learn something new in the kitchen! The College will provide all the necessary tools for students to use while they're in class.



This course is held in the kitchens of the historical Allison Mansion at 4207 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Guests are welcome to use our FREE gated parking lot directly off of Walnut Street between 42nd and 43rd Streets. Parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Please enter the main entrance to be directed to your course by a College representative.
